This Meeting has been cancelled. The sponsor of the bill came ill and will not be heard. We will keep you updated on any future hearings. Thank you.

We need as many railroaders as we can get to be in Santa Fe tomorrow at 1:15 pm in room 317, the address is 490 Old Santa Fe Trail, NM 87501. Don Gallegos SMART Legislative Director, spoke with Alonzo Baldonado and pretty much said he will not support HB 244 even though most of his constituents are railroaders. Earlier this week guy from fort worth was in Santa Fe convincing the chairman and the members of the committee that PTC is safer than a conductor and a one man crew shouldn't be disguised as safety, it should be a bargaining agreement.

You can simply follow this link to find your State Representative by entering your address. From there you can click the link on their respective page to either call or email them. It can't be stressed enough the importance of making your voice heard, this affects you personally and your co-workers. This is an important 5 minutes of your time!

" Hi my name is ____________ , I am in your district and would appreciate your support for HB 244, Minimum Train Operating Crews. This is important not only for the train crews safety but also the safety of the citizens of New Mexico."
