Brother and Sisters,

It seems that the tides continue to turn against us. It is with a heavy heart that I must write the following. Brother Jay Woodward was overtaken by his 15 month battle with brain cancer. He passed away in Phoenix on 10/29/19. Services will be held November 7th, 2019 in Scottsdale, AZ at 11am for those wishing to attend. I’ve provided a link below for those wishing to visit his mortuary page for info on his services. There is also places on the site that will allow you to send flowers and to donate in the name of Jay toward two foundations related to brain cancer treatment and research. I will put in to the membership at the November union meeting about making a donation in Jay’s name on behalf of the division. I again ask for all of us to hold our families and loved ones close as they are what we leave behind of the people we are. Jay was a great example of this and no one could ask for a better friend. I will miss him dearly.

Fraternally yours,

Jacob Williams
Local Chairman
