Today we walked 2km along the trail in Glendale Gardens. Glendale Gardens and Woodland at the Horticulture Centre of the Pacific in Victoria British Columbia is a gardeners paradise on Quayle Road -- all part of Interurban Trail. We tried the Vanalman Road Red Barn Market's panini sandwich for lunch and concluded it is not as good as the West Saanich Road store's. The latter puts the creation in the microwave prior to toasting it and this is the key to softening the bread so the heavy-lid toaster can really melt it down -- and flatten it. We took time to walk around Henderson before returning home. Another day in paradise at 18*C. under sunny skies.
