I'm currently an assistant professor at BiRC, Aarhus University where I'm working with Mikkel Schierup and Anders Børglum, while continuing to collaborate with Alkes Price at the Harvard University. In 2011 I graduated from the University of Southern California with a PhD in Computational Biology, where I was a part of the Nordborg lab. I received a MSc in Bioinformatics and BSc in Computer Science and Math from the University of Copenhagen. A long time ago, before I moved to Copenhagen, LA, Vienna, Boston, and Aarhus, I lived in Iceland, from where I originate. I am married to Dorte Pedersen and we have two children together, Anna Silja and Jonas Egill. You can follow our everyday life on our blog.
