B. O. P. Presents Mystery by Agatha Christie
Bisbee’s Obscure Productions is diving into the mysterious again. BOP will present the fine mystery by Agatha Christie, And then there were none…, opening January 20, 2012. This classic was once known as Ten Little Indians, and it has been a perennial favorite all over the English-speaking world.
Ten very different people have been lured to an island retreat off the coast of Devon, invited by an enigmatic Mr. or Mrs. Owen. They are surprised by a disembodied voice accusing each of murder. One by one the guests themselves are murdered. Who is the killer? Is it Philip Lombard, the adventurer, played by Peter Gardner? Mr. and Mrs. Rogers, the butler and the cook (Curt Smith and Diane Meyer)? Is it Miss Emily Brent, a very religious spinster (Rae Jones and Patricia Sherick-Gronlund alternate)? Who will survive until the final scene?
Performances of And then there were none… are scheduled for 7:30 pm on January 20, 21, 27 & February 3 & 4, 2012, with 3:00 pm matinees slated for January 29 and February 5. There will be no show on Saturday, January 28. Mark your calendars now so as not to miss this intriguing whodunit. All performances will be held in the O.G. Squffy Theater at Central School Project, 43 Howell in Old Bisbee. Bisbee’s Obscure Productions is grateful for the support of the Bisbee 1000 and Central School Project.
