NCT Yoga for Pregnancy

Wednesdays 6:15-7:45pm, Kudacan, Dongola Avenue, Bishopston

Come along to yoga to make friends, relax, improve your physical and emotional well-being and to prepare for a positive pregnancy and birth – whatever your birth plans. No yoga experience needed and the classes are suitable for all women from 13 weeks of pregnancy.

Benefits of yoga in pregnancy:

  • Sleep better
  • Shorter, easier birth
  • Practice birth breathing and positions
  • Strength and flexibility as your body grows and changes
  • Coping strategies for labour (and for caesarean birth)
  • Develop your relationship with your unborn baby
  • Help with hip and back ache
Please bring:
  1. A mat if you have one (let me know if not)
  2. A blanket
  3. A cushion (or two)
  4. Water

Cost £10 per class, paid in monthly blocks in advance. NCT concessions of up to 90% apply. Just email me to book.


I have worked with expectant and new parents since 2002 and look forward to supporting you on your own parenting journey. I live in Bishopston, Bristol with my two sons and husband. I work with the wonderful charity the NCT and independently as a teacher and Postnatal Angel.

Postnatal Angel - the extra hours in your day

If you have had a baby recently and would like some emotional and practical support with any aspect of parenthood the Postnatal Angels are here to help. From vacuuming to baby feeding support, my colleagues and I are here for you.

NCT Relax and Stretch with Baby 

By arrangement in your home - just get a small group together.

Ease yourself back into exercise after pregnancy from 6 weeks after birth until your baby is 8-10 months old- it's fine if they are crawling or if older children are joining in.

At this yoga-based class Mums will have the opportunity to:

  • strengthen and tone muscles- especially abdominal, pelvic floor and back
  • increase your fitness levels
  • regain and maintain a good posture
  • provide some vital relaxation
  • re-energise and motivate you for the rest of the week

Babies will have the opportunity to experience yoga especially for them to help:

  • encourage their reflexes to develop
  • enhance their motor development
  • increase their awareness of their surroundings
  • calm and relax them, helping them to sleep better

Cost £40 per 90 minute session
