The second attachment provides Dr. Wei Guo's PowerPoint presentation on "Diabetes, an issue with glucose homeostasis".

The other two attachments provide the student handout and teacher preparation notes for an activity in which students use a microscope to learn about diversity of cell structure and function.  Students examine human red blood cells and white blood cells, frog red blood cells, cheek cells, bacteria, and different types of Protista.
