Information to authors
Preference will be given to papers related to biogeography, but papers related to biology of other deciplines are also welcome.
Published once a year in September. Submission deadline is June 30.
Email submissions are preferred. The e-mail address for submissions is biogeo.japan@gmail.com
Please include the following information in the body of the email when submitting:
Names of the society members and corresponding authors (at least one of the authors must be a member of the society)
Three potential reviewers (name, email address, affiliation, area of expertise, etc.)
Paper information (manuscript title, authors' names (affiliations), abstract, and Japanese abstract*)
Please attach one Microsoft Word file of your manuscript (the file should include both figures and tables and a Japanese abstract*, and should be no larger than about 10 Mb).
If your manuscript is accepted, the following printing costs will be borne by the author(s). Up to two printed pages are free of charge, but the third and subsequent pages will cost 9,500 yen per page. For color pages, there is an additional charge of 4,000 yen per page.
Biogeography is now open access from 2020 (downloadable from JSTAGE).
*For non-Japanese authors, please inquire the editorial office about Japenese abstract.

日本生物地理学会英文誌
生物地理学に関連する論文を優先しますが、生物地理学以外の生物学に関わる論文についても歓迎します。
年1回9月発行。投稿締め切りは6月30日です。
投稿時のお願い
Eメールでの投稿をお願いします。投稿先メールアドレスは、biogeo.japan@gmail.com
投稿時にはメール本文内に、以下の内容を入れてください。
学会員の氏名とコレスポンディング・オーサーの氏名（著者のうち少なくとも1名が学会員である必要があります）
査読者候補３名（名前・メールアドレス・所属・専門分野等）
論文情報（原稿のタイトル、著者名（所属）、アブストラクト、和文要旨）
原稿については、Wordファイル１つを添付してください（Wordファイルの中に図表も和文要旨も入れ、10Mb程度以内に抑えること）。
あと、原稿が受理された場合、印刷代として以下の費用が著者負担となります。刷上り２ページまでは無料ですが、３ページ目以降について１ページごとに9500円。カラーページについては、１ページ4000円の追加費用がかかります。
Biogeographyは2020年度からオープンアクセスになりました（JSTAGEでダウンロード可能です）。上記印刷費はかかりますが、オープンアクセスに対する費用はかかりません。
