"Possession of a good lawyer is 9/10 of the law."
David M. Bingaman is a Spokane native who has been working in the legal field since 2003.  He attended Gonzaga University, where he was active in criminal law, both in and out of the classroom.  After law school, Mr. Bingaman was an assistant coach for the Gonzaga University Mock Trial team.  This was the same team that he helped lead to the national tournament the previous year.
David M. Bingaman attended law school at Thomas M. Cooley law school, in Michigan.  He graduated cum laude in just two years, was a law review Senior Editor, and participated in numerous trial competitions.  His accomplishments at the academic level were numerous.
David M. Bingaman has worked for both the Spokane County Public Defenders Office and the Spokane County Prosecutors Office.  After working for the county government, Mr. Bingaman turned to private practice.   Most of Mr. Bingaman's cases were criminal defense, personal injury cases, or contract-related cases.
In the criminal world, David M. Bingaman has both prosecuted and defended countless crimes ranging from misdemeanors to felonies.  Mr. Bingaman has defended numerous DUI's, thefts, drug-related charges, traffic infractions, and various other crimes.
David M. Bingaman's legal experience has been broad; however, he has limited his areas of practice to ensure that his clients receive competent legal representation.  Additionally, he is upfront and honest with both clients and potential clients so that each is able to make an informed decision based on realistic expectations.  When a potential client meets with an attorney, the individual is looking for the guidance and honest expectations, and this is exactly what each and every individual receives when meeting with David M. Bingaman.
David M. Bingaman works hard and is aggressive in representing his clients' interests.  Importantly, Mr. Bingaman recognizes that the legal system can be a very scary place for many people.  Thus, he takes the time to meet with clients, return phone calls, and take whatever time is needed to ensure that his clients are comfortable and understand all of their options.
