A typical Autumn evening looking west towards Manchester City centre, Beatham Tower takes shape...

Flanked between Sunley Tower, the Arndale and CIS, Beatham Tower is completed.

Below left is the stunning vista over Collyhurst, note the roof full of car bits!

Right is the view south over Corpus Christi Basilica (soon to be demolished) with Manchester City stadium (Eastlands) in the background.   Go on...  Click it!

A quick break from the balcony views...  A look toward Lock 80.

The Rochdale Canal runs for 33 miles between Manchester and Sowerby Bridge in West Yorkshire and in Manchester it connects with the Ashton and Bridgewater Canals.

The canal was re-opened to navigation along its entire length in July 2002 and forms part of the South Pennine Ring and passes near to my flat when nearing Ancoats.

Below:  Nelson Court flats and it's car park (at it's fullest).

Below Left.  The demolition of The Empress.  Right, view to the south west from the balcony.

Two of my Miles Platting favourite pubs - The Spanking Roger and The Ace of Diamonds
