Regular Season Champ:

The Non-Money Awards (and other fun facts):
The Giants Award (tie): Colin and Lisa McCall - Both mother and son controlled their own destiny going into the final game of the regular season. It was basically a "win and in" type of situation, kind of like the Giants were in when they played and lost to the Eagles and Packers in weeks 15 and 16 this season. They both picked losing teams in the final week and were bumped out by Anthony Madonna and Jason Sperinck. Anthony ended up winning the 2nd place money, and Jason fell only a couple picks shy of winning what would have been a ridiculous third Quint Pool title in a row. He finished 4th.
Regular Season MVP: Jamie Maguire - This award doesn't necessarily have to go to the Regular Season Champ, but there's no debate here. Jamie put up the best regular season record in Quint Pool history, and did it with an impressive amount of underdog wins.
Comeback of the Year: Sam Assad - I mentioned it above, but it bears repeating: at one point Sam lost five games in a row, the most of anyone in the playoffs this year, but bounced back with a huge Raiders pick and won his final two games to put himself into position to take the grand prize.
Falloff of the Year: Yasu Denda - Yasu was on top of the pool early, starting out 5-1 with huge upset wins, but lost his final nine games of the season to finish in 29th place.
The Just Fell Short Award: Colin McCall - This one goes to the player who finished just outside of the playoffs. Covered above, I won't rub any more salt in these wounds.
"E" for Effort Award: Brendan Schulke - This award goes to the lowest ranked participant who kept making picks every week, despite being out of playoff contention somewhat early in the season. Brendan wins this award after his dad Terry won it last year. The Schulkes are nothing if not dedicated.
"F" for Barely Any Effort Award: Travis Ethington - Missed his week 2 pick, then gave up on the season altogether after week 5. The only Quint Pool participant in history to go winless over the course of the season.
Best Faction: RPPD - Sam Assad, Dino, and James Kompany all made the playoffs this season, and are all members of Roselle Park's Finest.
