Bicycle Repair and Refurbishment Workshop Volunteers Need at
Chain Reaction is the first in a network of B4HPDX-sponsored external bike co-ops. It will serve to grant bikes and empower Central City Concern clients skills to become self-sufficient bike commuters.
Volunteers will work one on one with the clients and help them learn bicycle repair skills as they refurbish their granted bicycle.

The Sunday Parkway's Season will start on Mother's Day in East Portland with a celebration of mothers, families and friends on our first Sunday Parkways of the year. The route will highlight some of the beautiful natural areas that are located in East Portland, such as the newly finished Foster Floodplain Natural Area as well as Lents, Ed Benedict, Glenwood and Bloomington Parks. We will be providing free tune-ups for the event's participates. Each year, Sunday Parkways attracts thousands of cyclists to get out and be active in communities around the city and this is a great opportunity to fix a lot of bikes and do some outreach in new communities.

B4H Volunteers will be providing free bike safety checks for event participants. We will also bring loaner bikes for Bike Rodeo participants, outreach to the public about our organization, and sign up new volunteers.
