Travel Monitoring

The Bicycle and Pedestrian Data Subcommittee has developed an organized grouping of data that provides a structure which includes a total of three data groups.  This page is reserved for the Traffic Data Group.
Travel Monitoring Data Group
The definition of the Travel Monitoring Data Group - Traffic Data is any data that
is collected in the field, preferably that minimally contains at least 24 consecutive hours of field collected volume data.  This can include bi-directional datasets with both volume and classification data.  The data in this group costs the most to collect, is the least available, and requires the most time and resources to maintain.
