A seriously fun toy ...!
I worked two Christmas seasons in The Body Shop warehouse, sending out cosmetics to their shops in the UK and around the world. My second year there I was trained to drive the man-up truck ... a type of forklift where the cab goes up with the mast, so as to be able to work with stock in the higher racks ... necessary as I was on the Quality Control side. This job was done on the nightshift, as the warehouse was too crowded during the day with people packing the orders. I started my shift at 22:00 and finished at 06:00 the following morning, five nights a week. I also did a part time day job two days a week ... although it was tiring, it was only for about three months of the year. It's amazing what's possible for a short period of time.
The forklift drives away after bringing in the mirror in its crate. This picture doesn't really show you how slowly the tracked forklift moves. It moves slow.
