1934 General Electric Monitor Top
1934 General Electric Monitor Top
This is my 1934 GE Monitor Top refrigerator TYPE: CA-1-B16 Has a working foot peddle and dose operate however, does not cool. I'm looking to restore this fridge so it will cool. Or may have to find another top that does work. I acquired this fridge at an antique shop, it came with all three racks and is in solid shape. The seller said it did work, however when I brought it home and plugged it in, it turned on however never cooled down or changed temperature. This photo was taken in the garage after I acquired the machine. Right now it sits in my kitchen facing the 1940 GE fridge and is storage for my old movie collection till I can get it working. lol
