Goodyear Aerospace, 1976
The huge Akron, Ohio complex of Goodyear Aerospace. Note the Blimp Airdock. They made over 4,000 F4G Corsair fighters here during WWII. Goodyear had to sell this to fight off a hostile takeover during the 1990's; it is now operated by Lockheed Martin. They lovingly maintain the Blimp Hanger, rightly seeing it as an engineering marvel and an Akron landmark. My dad had a good, well-paying engineering job here until alcohol got in the way.
