Call for Papers

The 1st International Workshop on Big Data Science and Engineering on E-commerce will serve as a forum for researchers and technologists to discuss the state-of-the-art, present their contributions, and set future directions in big data science on e-commerce.

*. Tracks

This workshop has two tracks: regular track and case study track. To encourage authors to share their valuable experience on the real e-commerce datasets, the case study track collects papers which give deeply insights on their real datasets. The case study track collects the papers which focus on the experimental evaluation of existing algorithms and data structures on the real e-commerce datasets. The case study track is for papers where the problem identification and characterization is the primary contribution, and papers that investigate well-established systems and tackle overall systems designs. Suitable papers can fit compare a wide spectrum of approaches to a problem and, through extensive experiments, provide a comprehensive perspective on the results available and how they compare to each other. Authors are not limited to submit their papers to only one of two tracks.
