Monkey Bread

Monkey Bread

 What you need:

1 cup of butter
1/2 cup of brown sugar
2 tsp of sugar
3 tsp of cinnamon
1 Can of refrigerated biscuits

What to do:

Pre heat oven to 350 degrees.

Melt butter in a small sauce pan over medium heat.

Once butter is melted add the brown sugar.

Heat over medium heat until the brown sugar has melted and has become smooth.

 Remove from heat.

Whille the brown sugar mixture is sitting, mix cinnamon and sugar in a gallon size freezer bag.

Tear the biscuits into pieces and put them into the freezer bag.

Shake the bag until the biscuits are covered. (You may want to do a few at a time to make sure they are all well coated)

Spray a high sided pan with non-stick spray.

Layer the bottom of the pan with biscuits.

Drizzle some of the brown sugar mixture over the layer.

Add another layer of biscuits.

Drizzle some of the brown sugar mixture over the layer.

Add another layer of biscuits.

Continue that sequence until there are no more biscuits.

Cover your pan with aluminum foil.

Place your Monkey Bread into the oven for 20 minutes.

Depending on your oven you may need more or less time. The orgiginal recipe I was looking at only said to cook it for 13 minutes but when I took it out and tried it, the dough was still raw. No one wants raw bsicut dough. haha
