Loaded Baked Potato Chowder from The Pampered Chef 

What you'll need: 

3 baking potatoes (about 2 1/2 lb)
 
FOR OURS: I used Tasteful Selections Sunrises Melody Potatoes (I'd been giving a bag to do a review on :) )

3 1/2 cups milk
4 oz cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp butter
2-3 green onions with tops  FOR OURS: I just sprinkles in a little onion powder since we're not a fan of onions
4 oz grated sharp cheddar cheese

1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper

We Also Added Bacon To ours

What to do:

Slice potatoes in half lengthwise. 


Place in Deep Covered Baker.

Pour 1/2 cup of the milk over the potatoes and microwave, covered, on for 11 minutes.

Remove Deep Covered Baker from microwave.

Move center potatoes to ends of baker and outer potatoes to center. 

Cover and microwave for another 8-11 minutes or until potatoes are easily pierced with a fork.

Remove Deep Covered Baker from microwave.

Coarsely mash potatoes. 

Meanwhile, whisk cream cheese until smooth in the Classic Batter Bowl. Slowly add remaining 3 cups of milk, whisking until smooth.

Add cream cheese mixture and butter to Deep Covered Baker. 

Microwave, covered, for 3-5 minutes or until mixture is hot. If using onions, slice green onions now. Add the onions to the Deep Covered Baker once you have carefully removed the Deep Covered Baker from the microwave. 
 
 Sprinkle with Shredded Cheese and stir until cheese is melted. (this is when I added my Bacon too)
