Cream Cheese Swirl Brownie Dessert

What you need:

For the Brownies:

1 1/2 stick butter, cut into pieces

6 tablespoons of chopped chocolate (I used 1/2 of a 4.4oz Hershey Bar)

1 cup sugar

3 large eggs

3 / 4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 pinch salt

1/4 cup flour

Cheesecake Swirls:

8 oz cream cheese, room temperature

4 tablespoons of sugar

1 egg yolk

1 / 2 tsp vanilla extract

What to do:

Preheat the oven to 350F.

Line a square baking dish with foil or parchment paper, and spray with cooking spray.

To make the brownies:

Melt 1 1/2 stick butter and 6 tablespoons of chopped chocolate , using a double boiler.

Once melted, remove the pan from the heat

Stir in sugar, eggs, vanilla and a pinch of salt. Whisk together.

Now add the flour and fold it in.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan.

For the Cheesecake mix the cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla extract until smooth.

Scoop the cream cheese mix onto the brownie mix and swirl with a knife.

Bake the brownie dessert for about 45  minutes until done.

Once done, either scoop and serve with ice cream or enjoy straight from the pan... I mean... not that I would do that ;)
