Bible Memorizer 2.0.2

Bible Memorizer is a totally free program written for Windows to help make Bible verse memorization easy.  It lets you choose from a few verses each day from various Bible websites on the internet or download the verse of your choice.  It then displays the verse periodically and gives you the option to test yourself until you have successfully memorized it.  It is completely free; I wrote it for my own enjoyment but wanted others to be able to use it as well.

Download Bible Memorizer 2.0.2 for free (Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7)

When the program first runs, it will show you a list of verses it downloaded from Verse of the Day websites.  You can either choose one of these or add a verse of your choice:

If you click "Add Verse", you will be able to enter the verse name and desired translation and click the button next to them to automatically download the verse.  Or, you can manually enter the verse text and hit OK to add the verse to your list:

After you select a verse from your verse list, Bible Memorizer will periodically pop up your verse to help you with memorization:

If you hit the "Test me", you will be prompted for the verse text.  If you get a word wrong, it will be underlined in red and you will be able to right-click it to show you the correct word:

To help test you, random words in the verse display box on top will be obfuscated by dashes. As a helpful shortcut, you can hover over any of those words to see a tooltip showing you the actual word, as shown here:

Keep in mind that at any time, you can right-click on the yellow cross in the system tray at the lower-right corner of your screen to interact with the program (double-clicking the icon shows you your current verse):

And as a final note, if you would like to customize some parts of the program like the verse reminder interval, select the Preferences menu item or click the wrench in the upper-right corner of the verse window to see the following screen:
