若復苾芻尼知女人未滿二歲學六法六隨法。與受近圓者。波逸底迦。 Should any bhikkhuni, knowing that a female* is not fully trained for two years in the six dhammas and six anudhammas, give her the full ordination, [this entails a] pacittiya. *Vibhanga: female = sikkhamana
緣處同前。吐羅難陀尼。度他女人出家。與二歲學六法六隨法。未滿與受近圓。彼便白言。聖者。我正學法猶未得了。吐羅尼曰。但受近圓正學自滿。便即與受近圓。 Same place as before [at Savatthi]. At that time, Bhikkhuni Thullananda gave the going forth and the two years of training in the six dhammas and six anudhammas to a female. Then Bhikkhuni Thullananda was going to give her the full ordination before she had completed her training. This female then questioned Bhikkhuni Thullananda, “I have yet to complete the training.” Bhikkhuni Thullananda replied, “When you receive the full ordination, at that time it is as though you have completed your training.” Then, immediately, Bhikkhuni Thullananda gave her the full ordination.
尼白苾芻。苾芻白佛。佛問訶責。廣說乃至制其學處。應如是說。 The bhikkhunis informed the bhikkhus. The bhikkhus then reported this to the Buddha. The Buddha inquired about this and rebuked them. [All should be explained as above, as far as:] “... now I lay down this precept for bhikkhunis, from now on the precept should be spoken as follows:
若復苾芻尼。知女人未滿二歲。學六法及六隨法。與受近圓者。波逸底迦。 Should any bhikkhuni, knowing that a female is not fully trained for two years in the six dhammas and six anudhammas, give her the full ordination, [this entails a] pacittiya.”
尼謂吐羅難陀。或復餘尼。未滿二歲者。謂學六法六隨法未了。與受近圓者。謂白四羯磨作法。釋罪相等廣說如前。 ‘Bhikkhuni’ means Bhikkhuni Thullananda or other bhikkhunis. ‘Not fully two years’ means not having completed the training in the six dhammas and six anudhammas. ‘Give full ordination’ means carry out the kamma of motion with announcement as fourth. The details of the offenses are explained as above.
