In 1978, Diane Foster, Irene Clarfield, Margaret Darte and Marilyn Lee came together to start an organization for bereaved parents, like themselves, to deal with the grief of losing their beloved children.

Please join us on April 20th as we celebrate 40 years, and pay homage to our Founding Mothers.

Together we have impacted over 300,000 bereaved members in our community by providing them with grief support.

More ways to get involved with the 40th Anniversary Celebration:
  • Event sponsorship: We are seeking sponsors for designated purposes: venue, wine, dessert etc. If you have a corporate affiliation that you can leverage for a sponsorship, please contact us at aogale@bfotoronto.ca

  • Event tickets: Individual $150; Table (seats 8) $1,080.

  • Silent auction item: Are you or anyone you know able to donate an item? Large and small items are welcome!

  • Service donation: Do you have a specialized skill that you can provide to BFO-Toronto at no charge Services such as website maintenance, graphic design, public relations and food catering are examples of services that BFO Our need for funding is increasing as the number of programs and participants expand.

  • Cash donation: Either through an annual giving or a one time contribution, NO CONTRIBUTION IS TOO SMALL.

  • Volunteer time: Our programs are run by volunteers who donate their time and experience. Are you able to contribute an evening to help facilitate a group? Please contact Sarah at programsupport@bfotoronto.ca
