Is the (enriched) paper computer-reasonable?

Is the (enriched) paper computer-reasonable?
Barend Mons,
Biosemantics Group, Leiden University Medical Centre

The classical paper (including therefore PDF) is nor longer the only means of scientific communication. Datasets, databases and other sources of scientific data and information need to augment papers. Enriching papers with all kinds of (semantic and syntactic) links has it's value but is not sufficient. This presentation will review the current status of the nanopublication as an interoperable format to lnk papers, datasets and databses and make them all interoperable, and more importantly, computer-resonable.
