My Dog Tom

Tom’s nose is pressed against a window

And he’s drooled upon the glass.

It’s just enough for me to yell

And kick him in the arse!

Instead I shake my head at him

Then turn and count to ten

Yesterday I cleaned that window

Now I must scrub it once again

Maybe I should just ignore the mess

Leave the dog to drool and smudge

You see, he has these gorgeous eyes

And I can never hold a grudge

I ‘m never really angry at Tom

He just has to wag his tail

And looks up with the silly grin

And my heart melts with out fail
