1 16-ounce package Oreo cookies
1 8-ounce package cream cheese, room temperature
1 package candy melts, use the color to suit your need
Using a food processor, pulverize the Oreo cookies.
Add the cream cheese. Blend to combine thoroughly. Shape the oreo mixture into 48 1-inch balls. Freeze for an hour.
Melt the candy melts according to the directions on the package. Working with half the batch, (keeping half in the freezer until ready for use), and using a toothpick, dip the oreo ball into the melted chocolate and place on waxed paper or Silpat. (If the balls aren't cold enough, they start falling apart when being dipped.) Decorate with sprinkles as you dip; the candy melts harden quite quickly.
Refrigerate until serving.
