Snowshoe Mountain Resort is located in West Virginia about 4.5 hours from Pittsburgh.  Snowshoe has 57 slopes and trails, an average annual snowfall of 180", 1500' of vertical, and 100% snowmaking with some of the best skiing in the East.  There is a wide mix of trails for beginners and experts alike, and they have an extensive selection of non-skiing activities as well.  In addition to skiing at Snowshoe, our lift tickets also give you access to skiing at Silver Creek, which offers more trails and slopes, the "Mountaineer Terrain Park", and snowtubing.  Silver Creek is located just down the road from Snowshoe and there are free shuttles running 24/7 to get you there.

A majority of our condos are located in Whistlepunk, directly across the street from Cupp Run and centrally located near the Shavers Center (the hub of Snowshoe).  We are also a short walk to the village, which has shopping, restaurants, and nightlife.  We also have a more options in the Ridgewood condos that are a bit cheaper but a bit further of a walk from the slopes.

The club also hosts an après-ski party, typically on Friday night during the trip.  We usually meet at Tuque's Bar and Grill, located near the top of Powder Monkey lift and a short walk from the Whistlepunk Condos.  The club provides drink tickets and appetizers, and Tuque's typically has live music.

Transportation is not provided, but carpools have worked in the past.  Prices are listed below based on rooming options.  Price includes lodging, 3 day lift ticket, and all taxes/fees.  An additional 4th day of skiing is available to us for an extra $72 this year.  Other lift ticket or occupancy options can be arranged.

Whistlepunk Condos

The Whistlepunk Condos are our usual accommodations.  There are 1- and 2-bedroom condo options.  

• The 1-bedroom condo offers a queen bed and fold-out couch to sleep up to 4 people.  

• The 1-bedroom with loft offers a queen bed, a double bed in the loft, and a fold-out couch to sleep up to 6 people.  

• The 2-bedroom condo offers a queen bed, 2 single beds, and a fold-out couch to sleep up to 6 people.  

All units have a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and are ski-in/out via a short trail connecting to Upper Whistlepunk Trail.  

These condos are also a short walk to Western Territory.

Cost (per person) includes 3-night lodging (Thursday - Sunday) and a 3-day lift ticket.  All taxes/fees are included.  Other lift ticket or occupancy options can be arranged (contact Tony Antonace for special requests).

Note that the type of beds/sleeper-sofas vary from unit to unit, but occupancy stated above is consistent for each type of condo.  Full occupancy assumes 2 people per bed/sleeper-sofa.  Full disclosure, some of the smaller rooms are pretty tight at full occupancy.  We’ve found the Whistlepunk 2-bedroom units to be the roomiest at full occupancy.  See the diagram below for approximate locations of the condos we have reserved.  24/7 bus stops are marked in with the blue ‘B’.
