Day 67 - May 16, 2008 - A break in the clouds
Day 67 - May 16, 2008 - A break in the clouds
I want to be naked, running through the streets. I want to invite this so called chaos, that you'd think I dare not be. I want to be weightless, flying through the air. I want to drop all these limitations at the shoes upon my feet. I think all of my pictures are starting to look the same. I was really excited to go outside and take a photo today. Then, I looked outside and realized it was raining. Sorry, but my straight hair is not in the mood to get wet. So this is me with my morning coffee and bed head hair checking out the weather situation. There's a smile on my face only because I thought I saw a break in the clouds. I was wrong. :) I leave for Tennessee tomorrow morning. I'll be gone for a week. I'm bringing my laptop but if there is no internet connection, then you'll be Kristin comment-less for a week. But let's keep our fingers crossed for wireless or a connection. No Flickr for a week? That might kill me. I haven't started packing yet. I hate packing. Especially since I feel like I just spent the whole week UNpacking. It is a twelve hour drive to Gatlinburg. Helloooo to boredom. I guess I'll be packing lots of books and music to keep me entertained. Someone coughNICOLEcough should text me to cheer up the long drive. :) Oh so during my morning coffee, I had a brilliant idea. I think maybe I should start a group for forehead wrinkles. I'm pretty sure there isn't already one. And I figure there's gotta be people besides me with forehead wrinkles all up in their photo's grills. What do you think, should I start one? Thoughts? Opinions? Okay, I've made this blog long enough. Hopefully, I'll be seeing you all tomorrow with a fabulous internet connection. If not, have a marvelous week and I'll be back next Saturday with lots of pictures and comments! <333
We changed ISPs lately in order to get a TV connection as well as internet DSL via the phone line, and it's been something of a nightmare. The connection keeps on dropping. The first time the connection would barely take; we found out it was because the man who installed it had forgotten to turn off the previous wireless router (which I had installed years ago). He had spent hours trying to get the thing to work and didn't really succeed. In this photo the wireless router is looking at the photographer, blinking mysteriously. :-) Another man came to move the router upstairs where we usually connect to the internet. Things are a bit better now, I think, but the connection still drops occasionally.
