Journaling reads:
My water broke on Sunday morning when I was going to take the dogs out. All day at the hospital they had me walk around trying to start contractions, but nothing much happened. The next day we tried several hours of Pitocin, a medicine that should have started labor, but by 7pm I was still only having strong, but ineffective, contractions in my back. With the doctor, we decided that it would be best to go ahead with a Cesarean - we weren’t getting good readings on how well Madeline was doing in the womb, so we couldn’t tell if she was in any distress. In addition, at that point it had been 36 hours since my water had broken, and the chance of infection was rising.

The Cesarean was quick and painless (after the spinal pain medicine was applied!), but it felt very odd—like my insides were being tugged out. The delivery room sounded like a cafeteria, with all kinds of instruments being clanked as the many attendees got ready for surgery. The anesthesia made me very cold - I was shivering quite a bit for almost an
hour. But finally we got to meet Madeline on Monday December 11th, at 7:10 p.m. She weighed 7 pounds 10 ounces and was 20 1/4 inches long.

That's the tiny feet of Nur Serena, my little princess who was born prematurely on 1st of June 2010 @ 5.31pm. Weighing @ only 925 grammes, under gestation of 26 weeks plus 6 days, she had to be delivered from mummy's womb when wifey had placenta eruption that arises from a suspected lung infection(myocarditis) that induces chronic coughing. As such, wifey had a caesarean within an hour upon arrival from other hospital that advices her to wait for the full term gestation which is Sept 3rd! Yes, you heard me, my wife 1st went to A&E of Changi Hospital after vaginal bleeding, then they ferry us to KKH (Kandang Kerbau Hospital) woman's ward. Subsequently, wife ended up in SGH (Singapore General Hospital) for the caesarean due to the intensity of the complication. Shot with a Sigma MF 28-70mm f/2.8

Womb Wisdom: Awakening the Creative and Forgotten Powers of the Feminine
Tools to awaken the creative powers of the womb
• Contains exercises to open the womb’s energetic pathways, release toxic emotions, and harness creative potential
• Reveals how the womb’s energies are crucial for the spiritual shift of 2012: birthing a new civilization
• Shows how the awakened womb can also bring about male spiritual transformation
• Includes 45-minute CD to help awaken creative energies
In the past and in present-day indigenous traditions, women have known that the womb houses the greatest power a woman possesses: the power to create on all levels. Utilized in the process of giving birth, this power of creation can also be tapped in the birth of projects, careers, personal healing, spirituality, and relationships. However, because the womb stores the energetic imprint of every intimate encounter--loving or not--the creative voice of the womb is often muffled or absent altogether, affecting the emotional, mental, and spiritual health of women and their relationships.
Drawing on sacred traditions from ancient India, Tibet, Egypt, Gnostic Christianity, and Judaism, the practice of Womb Wisdom empowers women to become aware of the intuitive voice of the womb outside of pregnancy and the moon cycle to unlock this potent inner source for creativity, birthing the new conscious children, spiritual growth, and transformation not only for themselves but also for their male partners. The authors include exercises to clear the past, release toxic emotions, open the womb’s energetic pathways, activate the sacred sensual self, bring balance to relationships, and harness creative potential. Including intimate, individual stories of women experiencing the opening of the womb, this book also explores the forgotten sacred sites of the womb around the world as well as how the womb’s energies are crucial to birth a new civilization in the spiritual shift of 2012. The accompanying 45-minute CD includes a soundscape to assist in the awakening of these creative forces.
