Turnout Indicator
An example of a turnout indicator on a signal at Maitland. Currently the signal is set to stop, and is red. If the turnout is open and the road ahead is clear, the three lights below the small red light will pulse amber (not flash yellow!). If the next signal is set to stop, then the lights will not pulsate, just stay on amber.
