"I wake up in the morning, put on my face, the one that's going to get me through another day."
Day 130. Forgive me for the Avril song quote, but I listened to her as a teen and that one line has always stuck with me. So this was my idea for today. And trust me, it was a hard one. I hate that it was hard for me to do, but it was. When I was young, I always had self esteem problems. When I hit 17 I hid behind make up. Lots of make up. And ever since, I continue to hide behind it. I never take it off, unless my eyes are desperate to be rubbed. No one ever sees me without make up. Not even me! I hate that I am this way. So I have decided that every now and then, I will not wear it. I took it off last night and decided that I would take a picture of myself this morning, hair a mess in pigtails, and me, bare faced. I hate that I hate myself sometimes, and that I feel naked and ugly without make up on. It is getting better, but I hope that this is a step int he right direction for me.
My first proper makeup from the new start... Not that happy with it but it has given me loads of ideas for what to do next. The best thing is the amazing mirror that makes these shots possible. Couldn't decide which image to put up...broken autofocus meant none of them are as they could be
