Alton Brown's sugar cookie recipe from foodtv.com. Sugar glaze made with 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon light corn syrup, a dash of vanilla extract, and water to thin to desired consistency. You can use milk but the glaze will be more matte than shiny. Food coloring added for half to make blue. Wilton Royal icing for piping, and little pearl dragees from the Disney Princess sprinkles set. Working on improving my piping. The tiny white cookies (they're maybe an inch and a half in diameter) were done first, then the tiny blue cookies, then the 4 bigger cookies. You can almost watch my piping get better and more steady over time, then get crappy near the end because my hands were tired :D
