I took a donated MTN bike from Liz down to Wildcat Wheels to strip for parts. That sucker was a beast! I think the frame alone (the frame alone!) weighed in at about 25lbs. It was one of those Wal-Mart duel suspensions. Liz originally donated it because it had 'bad karma' and represented a negative time in her life. In a fashion that I think Liz wanted, we completely stripped it, so 30 minutes after my arival it was dust in the wind. I keep thinking that each bike build up from one of the parts will have a bit of evil in it ... isn't that a model for multiple Steven King movies?
Downhill race on Sunday in Jonkershoek Tweaking it! He nearly landed on my foot on this one & covered me in dirt...all in the name of a pic! ;)
