Beryl has been writing for over fifteen years. Her short stories, articles and flash fiction pieces have been published in magazines, anthologies and newspapers and she has had numerous competition successes.

She has an MA in Creative Writing from Manchester Metropolitan University.

Before moving back to her East Anglian roots in 2014, she lived in Hampshire and Dorset for many years. Now living in an eighteenth century cottage near the coast, she and her husband enjoy country and shoreline walks with their Dalmatian, going to local theatres, exploring East Anglia and the novelty of being near family and old friends. Their married daughter  lives and works in London.

Beryl continues to write stories for adults and children, occasional articles and is currently embarking on her second novel. The first is being considered by agents.
