I will be joining to Tepper School of Business at the Carnegie Mellon University as a visiting Assistant Professor of Economics in Fall 2018.

I  am an Assistant Professor of Economics (tenure track) in the Department of Economics and
Centro de Investigacion Economica at the Instituto Technologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM)

I received my Ph.D in 2015 from the Department of Economics at Boston College under the supervision of Prof. Utku Ünver.

My research combines ideas from market design, game theory, choice theory and experimental economics and focuses on:

(1) matching problems with special constraints,
(2) theory and applications of matching problems with contracts,
(3) analysis and design of affirmative action policies in school choice,
(4) axiomatic properties of resource allocation mechanisms,
(5) experimental analysis in school choice,
(6) choice theory and bounded rationality.

Practical relevance and policy implications are essential parts of my market design research.
