I  am an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics and  Centro de Investigacion Economica at the Instituto Technologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM)I received my Ph.D from the Department of Economics at Boston College.

My research focuses on the theory and applications of matching problems with contracts, analysis and design of affirmative action policies in school choice  and axiomatic properties of resource allocation mechanisms. Practical relevance and policy implications are essential part of my market design research. I am also working on choice theory and bounded rationality.
