Our research revolves around machine learning for high-dimensional data, computational statistics, data visualization, predictive modeling, performance evaluation, model selection, and knowledge extraction from large data sets. Most of our applied work centers on problems arising in the life/health sciences, such as genomic data analysis, and more recently also sports data analysis.
