  1. Christ the Lord is ris’n today, Alleluia!
Sons of men and angels say, Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia!
Sing, ye heav’ns, and earth, reply, Alleluia!

Holy (Maundy) Thursday  (March 29)

7:00 pm   Service of Tenebrae and Remembering the Last Supper.

The service of Tenebrae, meaning “darkness” or “shadows,” has been practiced by the church since medieval times. This service became an important part of the worship of the common folk during Holy Week. Tenebrae is a prolonged meditation on Christ’s suffering. Readings trace the story of Christ’s passion, music portrays his pathos, and the power of silence and darkness suggests the drama of this momentous day.

Our service will include an observance of the Lord's Supper.* Come join us and Christians of many generations throughout the world in using the liturgy of Tenebrae.

   * It's our tradition at the Red Brick Church to welcome anyone, no matter what church affiliation, who trusts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to participate with us in the observance of the Lord's Supper.
