Education Technology Professional Development

Giving teachers technological gadgets without the training to use them has been shown to be a waste of tax-payer money. Schools and districts must invest in training of teachers to use the technological tools available today. Research is showing a widening gap between learning gains for students who use targeted and appropriate educational technology and those that do not.

  • Technology use is now a cultural norm.
  • Digital Literacy is an essential part of a complete education now.
  • All Educators should be technology literate and aware of how technology is used in society.
  • Technology used at school should support educational goals and objectives already in place.
