Open design cell phone

Is there any open design cell phone now that the FreeRunner from OpenMoko died?  Isn't there something like Mameo?? maybe sponsored by Intel, using the Moblin linux sw??  A competitor to the Google Android??

Power supply for desktop computers in developing countries

Professor Brewer UCB said he might like to have an open hw project for the design of a better power supply for desktop computers in developing countries where the electric supply is less dependable, & to increase efficiency for the computer.
