Orange County United Way’s Youth Career Connection Initiative infuses classroom learning with real-world experiences. The goal is simple: connect students directly with local employers for an interactive question and answer session to prepare students for lifelong success.

Matt Bennion and Bryan Tran, both Toastmasters and associates of AmerisourceBergen Drug Company, chatted with students about life beyond the classroom.

Career advice from Brian: “Two skills you should walk away with when you graduate high school is learn how to communicate well and learn how to use Excel.”

Matt, Pharmacy Account Specialist: “Healthcare is a great industry to be a part of. There is so much stability in this field because people will always need healthcare.”

These men are leading by example and building a better community. Stop by our next Toastmasters meeting to talk with them about this experience and your next adventure.
