Yesterday Jeff and I went back to Homesense to get more sheepskin rugs for the cats, ok and me. While we were there I of course had to scope out the furniture because you never know what will pop up there. To my complete shock I found the above Tolix-ish chair and 2 repro Wegner Wishbone chairs. Because of the amount of $ I have spent lately and the fact that the basement is PACKED full of crap, I took none of these chairs home with me. When I did arrive home I sent my sister a photo of one of the Wishbone chairs I took on my iPhone at the store and she thought I was nuts to have left them there. Oh - did I mention they were $99 each? (!!!!!!!!!). I told Jo when she came online later that night and she also thought I was nuts. So my husband and I dashed out to the store this morning as soon as it opened and TO MY HORROR the Wishbone chairs were gone. The Tolix was there so we bought it then drove to 2 other Homesense stores hoping to find the Wishbones but had no luck. To ease my pain we bought this imitation busroll print instead. Lesson to be learned here - if you see something amazing, just buy the f*cking thing and if you change your mind/you husband wants to kill you for bringing home yet ANOTHER chair, you can always return it. P.S. Anthropologie sells this EXACT chair for $198. I paid $59. :-) (The busroll was $49)
