My research interests lie at the intersection of macroeconomics and labor, with a focus on job finding using referral-networks in frictional labor markets. Within this area, my research examines the market forces incentivizing network formation, as well as the effect of referral-networks on sectoral switching, unemployment, output, consumption, and, more generally, economic recoveries. My work integrates empirical analysis with theory, using search-and-matching models of the labor market.
