No Clean Feed - Stop Internet Censorship in Australia

November 08, 2009

Well, it is not so late this time around, is it? I am back with a better than ever proposition and I come with eighty-six (and counting) list of twitter users from etbu(or who were once at etbu but have since moved on). Enjoy!

Hang on! Why is Paris Hilton taking over this website?

October 25, 2009

It has been quite a while of me neglecting this website. However, that does not mean people can just take it over. I looked up Google Webmaster Tools report just now (after hearing from that Travis J that he has been using that a lot at his work. While I am pleased to tell that this website has apparently ranked eighth for " eamond mcauley" and ninth for homestarrunner, I don't understand why this website is ranked nineteenth for "paris hilton naked". I would like to reassure all concerned children that this website is completely adult-friendly and they do not need to stop their older siblings, parents and teachers for viewing this website.

We are monitoring the situation as it progresses. While me writing"paris hilton *****" will probably not imporove the situation as far as search visibility is concerned, the aggrieved children can rest in solace that their elders' innocence is not being robbed when they are at this website.

Being a Google-based website, project BRT does not knowingly host immature sexual content, among others. We would like to remind you that linked external websites may contain graphic content (some of which are not appropriate for children or for adults).

Can of bears: the art of leverage again

October 02, 2009

The can of bears (blogger, facebook, Google site, twitter, and so on) has not been on the Internet for a long time. However, it has been rather quick in its development. Check it out and become a follower today on your favorite networks!

Leverage - project brt
September 22, 2009

Needing some cool music for your website or some background noise at your party? Well, just remember project brt.

I am feeling confident at leveraging this service at because it is purportedly free. I do not suggest you throw good money at buying these glorified loops online.

When we are at it, have you heard of the tv series called leverage? What do you think of me trying to leverage some cool-ish ideas?

Hey guys, I just wanted to share an audio clip with you ... Enjoy!

(Thanks to Allison Meriwether and Eamond McAuley for making this production possible.)

July 04, 2009

First, I would like to wish everyone a very happy fourth of July. I have some very exciting news. Google Analytics recently noted one (1) visit to this website from the network location: "nepal telecommunications corporation". Someone in Nepal saw this website! Yay!

Oh, I also have some sad news. As we transition to Google sites, some, if not all, site functionality will break. Files hosted at this location may disappear suddenly. I would like to take this moment to ask you to download files that you may wish to keep. (Sorry about that but the matter is beyond my control.)

Oh, and Daniel, I will put a direct link to the dean healthplex google site on our calendar page, should it break in transition.

I am very glad to report a healthy growth in our readership and would like to thank the readers in California, New York, Texas, and in India and Nepal for their continued support* last month. I really appreciate it.

* Please note that Project BRT is not soliciting any kind of monetary donation at the moment. Please do not give any of your personal/financial details to unsolicited e-mails or phone calls. Thank you!

It appears that Google is indexing twitter now, as some people have noticed (caution: external link).

Introducing Google Friend Connect -- a new and secure way to communicate with Project BRT! There is still no need to sign up for anything but Google Friend Connect is a snap and it opens up new avenues for us, so why not?

More awesome interviews coming soon! (Fingers crossed) :) Plus, this month we will also start focusing on Augustin Cauchy and related topics as well as (time permitting) dust off on the Solera method, a bit.
Just in: Here is a copy of the multiplication solution in VB.NET Thanks to everyone who helped me in writing it. :)

Mozy offers free back-up accounts with 2 GB free space. Like a classic, "but wait there's more" trick, it also offers 256 MB additional space for "referrals" to both the person who refers and the person who is joins. Mozy says it applies the referral when the person who joins actually starts backing up. Here is a link if you want to give me (and yourself) 256 MB of additional space:

A cursory web search shows that EMC (NYSE:EMC) owns Decho Corp. which in turn owns Mozy. (The above has not been confirmed from any source. Please use common sense when investing!) I do not own any interest in NYSE:EMC as of this writing.

I cannot decide where the line stands between being helpful and polite and being excessively chatty. Here is an example:

Decide for yourself. :)

Have you heard of a movie called Inside Man? If you have, how do you like it?

Wii Music

With less than warm reception from tech media like Ars Technica and metacritic, Wii Music does not seem to be a big hit (yet). If you have own Wii Music, what do you think about it? Please let us know.
