Bust-A-Move Deluxe Screenshots

Posted Mar 08, 2006 at 01:27PM by Andy Levine Listed in: Previews, Bust a Move
Majesco Games released 4 screenshots of their upcoming PSP title Bust-A-Move Deluxe, which is planned for release in the US April 3, 2006. Although it's been out in Japan for quite some time now, the US version is sporting a totally new look and will hopefully include some new features. The Bust-A-Move series has been around for an incredibly long time now, and if the developers keep releasing new titles with little innovation like they have been doing recently it won't be around much longer.

Lua Avalanche PSP Port Released

Posted Mar 08, 2006 at 01:09PM by Ernest Graham Listed in: Homebrew Games

Xodiac21, a member of our forums, has released a new LuaPlayer game called Lua Avalanche. Avalanche is a game that was originally released for the Texas Instrument TI- 83 in the early eighties. I'm sure most people old enough to remember the Texas Instrument machine will remember it fondly. While there have been ports of the game before, this is the first time I've seen it on the PSP. Here's what Xodiac has to say about his new release:

1. Instead of one hit kills, I made it so it counts your hits and lets you go on forever.
2. Starts off slow but increases speed with each level.
3. Levels should continue forever, so I want to see some high level - low hit screenshots.
4. Take screenshots with L button.
5. No known bugs.

Posted Mar 08, 2006 at 07:55AM by Jeff Chen Listed in: Homebrew Games

McZonk from Team Emergency Exit has updated his Commander Keen for PSP to version 0.99.Commander Keen PSP is a ported version of Katy’s CloneKeen v8.3, which is an open-source remake of the good old 2D Commander Keen by id Software back in 1990. In this version, save and load is supported. Here is the message from Zonk:

Just a little new Version of Commander Keen for PSP. I thought I can release a final version but there are problems with episode 2&3. So it version 0.99 instead of 1.0. I hope to fix this bug soon. Or there next version will be 0.999 :)

Now loading and saving is supported. You can use the triangle to open save menu and you have 2 safe slots (left and right trigger). You can load via main menu (get back to main menu is also supported now).

Thanks to all old school gamers who love this game.
