Croasdale House Farm
Croasdale House Farm, is a 940 Ha Hill farm, running Beef and Sheep near Slaidburn, situated in an AONB in the Forest of Bowland.
It is farmed by Malcolm & Marty Handley along with their son Mick. Malcolm and Marty have been United Utilities Tenants since 1990. They farm using an environmentally focused approach to farming in the hills.
The farm rises up to 1340 feet above sea level and has a current annual rainfall of 100+ inches.
It is home to the herd of Croasdale's Pedigree Belted Galloway's and a flock of 1,000 ewes. The farm sells its own tasty Belted Galloway Beef. There is also an Educational programme run, enabling students from a local high school to gain a BTEC level 2 in Countryside and Environment
