READ A READER REVIEW FROM NICOLE FROM GERMANY

By Nicole from Germany
Subject = Yes!!!! This book is a MUST for all Bell Witch Fans
Reader's Review = A must for all Bell Witch Fans!

I live in Germany and even here the Bell Witch Legend is very much alive and has many people wondering.

After having read many books about the Bell Witch and the legend, this book is by far the best there is with understandable and down-to-earth explanations of why the mysterious occurrences may have haunted the Bell Family in Adams, Tennessee between 1817 and 1821.

Beautifully written by DJ Lyons, this book not only shows that Cate Batts was innocent of everything people accused her of over these many years, but it also reveals the strength of the human spirit to understand and forgive through failures, trials and triumphs in life. Many times in life the things we do and the choices we make set off chain reactions which cause further series of events, good and bad.

Take a journey back in time to Red River, Tennessee to learn the long truth behind this legend, to possibly find out more about yourself …and what makes each of us human.

Great job, Ms. Lyons! I absolutely loved this book!!! More please!!!!

Thanks, Nicole for your review. I am very grateful for the positive feedback.

READ A READER REVIEW FROM TERESA - A TRAVELING TEACHER FROM THE USA ON A TWO-YEAR TEACHING SEBATICAL IN EGYPT.

By Teresa & "Traveling Teacher" ( Alexandria, Egypt)
Hi DJ from Teresa.

I just finished your book! And...., Wow!

I hear your voice, your mannerisms so clearly. Now I see why you were the perfect teacher for Conflict Resolution.

My favorite chapter is 77. I feel that this chapter better helped me to learn forgiveness.

My least favorite chapter is 81, Betsy Bell and Joshua. I do not like to hear about child abuse. When it is in the news, when I learn about it from friends who it happen to, I am sad. I am glad that I have not had this experience, but somehow, I internalize their suffering. Somehow, when I read about the abuse to Cate, I expected that. Knowing how strong Cate was, I knew that with her powers, she could succumb. However, I felt different for Betsy...she was so young.

DJ, there is so much more I could say. This is the first book I have read where multiple people speak in first person. I believe you. I believe what you have written. I think I understand your message and purpose for this book. To me, it goes deeper than solving the mystery. Again, I refer to Chap. 77. As one is led through the events, through the dialogue, one begins to understand the underlying message which must be your purpose on this Earth Plane. Do I have it right?

Thanks, Teresa for your review. I am truly touched by your words. Also thank you for posting your review on the Amazon.com site. Here is the link, should anyone wish to view her review: Amazon.com Review by Teresa and Others

READ A READER REVIEW FROM JEFF HOCKENHIMER, CO-AUTHOR OF THE BOOK CALLED “THE SECRETS OF THE BELL WITCH”
He wrote this on December 18, 2008

I am Jeff Hockenhimer, co-author of the book The Secrets of the Bell Witch with John Howell. I have been making updates and revisions in my book and to correct some misinterpreted information. While researching I came across your website and was delighted to see that you had used my book in your research. I immediately ordered a copy of your book. Because of all the research you have done, I was expecting a historical analysis. At first I was disappointed that you had written your book as a fictional novel but once I got into it, I couldn't put it down. I read it through four times the first week. May I write to you directly? My email is _______. I look forward to corresponding with you and to the day we can meet to exchange theories. Thank you, Jeff Hockenhiemer.

PS: Be sure to include John Howell's name as co-author of the book Secrets of the Bell Witch.

On January 31, 2009, I wrote: I finally published your comment today. My apologies for the long delay. This has been a crazy couple of months.

I would be happy to correspond with you directly regarding this topic.

I'm glad you like my book. You must be a fast reader if you read it through four times in one week. I hope you realize that I only represented my book as fiction. In my mind, it is immutable fact. I spent two years of my life researching in courthouses and libraries. I interviewed living direct descendants of Cate, people the archives state could not exist. There was a huge cover-up by both the Bell family and the Batts family. I consulted psychics. I did everything humanly possible to get all the known facts. The book practically wrote itself after that.

Feel free to e-mail me at moredunntales@yahoo.com . Have a great day!

Best Wishes, DJ Lyons aka Debbie Dunn
