July 25, 2010
We were invited back by Patricia Otto to have a ginko at her place for each season. So that's what we did for our summer ginko. And it was an appropriately warm day for writing summer haiku.
We organized our afternoon as we had with our spring ginko, beginning with our nature walks and meeting back at the flower garden and birdfeeders for a mini potluck. After enjoying some good food, we held a semi-anonymous critique of the haiku we created during our walks. It was a pleasure to see what others had written and the feedback is always a great learning tool.
Another great day of poetry and sharing!
Thank you again to Tricia for sharing her wonderful place with us.
[In attendance were Carlene Adams, Seren Fargo, and Sheila Sondik.]
