  • Alert: Fisher sighting in Bel-Air On Dec 17/18 @ ~2 am, a resident living in Bel-Air community near Garfield & Southhampton Streets spotted a fisher while checking on his cats in backyard.  Fishers are found within Ottawa city limits.  They are aggressive hunters, and prey on small animals.  Please keep your pets safe.   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fisher_(animal)

  • The Annual General Meeting for the Bel-Air Community Association is Sunday, November 4, 2018, 2-4 pm at 2112 Bel-Air Drive (Wells Salvation Church basement). Come hear an update from Councillor Rick Chiarelli. There will be door prizes: a book called Our Homesick Song by novelist Emma Hooper who's father grew up on Bel-Air Avenue, and gift certificates for the Summerhays Grill and Chances R restaurants.  Interested in making a difference in your community?  Why not join the Bel-Air Community Association?  Community members are welcome to put their names forward to serve on the board.  Become a member or renew your membership ($10 cash) and get your voter card to elect the next Board of Directors..  Please help to spread the word around the community and tell your neighbours.  We need your help to keep our community vibrant and active.
