I'm an Assistant Professor in Department of Semiconductor Systems Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), Suwon, Korea. Please send me an email if you're interested in my research area.
Prior to SKKU, I was a Postdoctoral Associate in Department of Computer Science at Cornell University, working with Prof. Rachit Agarwal and Prof. A. Kevin Tang from 2018 to 2021. I worked at Samsung Electronics, Suwon, Korea as a Senior Engineer from 2015 to 2018 and Bell Labs, Alcatel-Lucent (currently Nokia), Seoul, Korea as a Member of Technical Staff from 2010 to 2015. I received my M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from Korea University, Seoul, Korea in 2005 and 2010, respectively and the B.S. degree in computer science from The Catholic University of Korea, Korea in 2003.
My research interests are generally in system software and operating systems, including storage disaggregation, data center systems, CPU-efficient storage/network stacks, and so on.
