## D Flip Flop State Diagram

state diagram
• A diagram that depicts the states that a component or system can assume, and shows the events or circumstances that cause and/or result from a change from one state to another. [IEEE 610]
• A graphical representation of a set of variables and the values to which they refer.
• A state diagram is a type of diagram used in computer science and related fields to describe the behavior of systems.
flip flop
• interchange: reverse (a direction, attitude, or course of action)
• a backless sandal held to the foot by a thong between the big toe and the second toe
• reversal: a decision to reverse an earlier decision

Virginia Earthquake Gutenberg-Richter Diagram
This diagram shows the distribution of magnitudes among the aftershocks of the 5.8 magnitude earthquake that hit Virginia August 23, 2011. Dots are equally spaced along the x-axis from 2 (the lowest magnitude of earthquakes published by the USGS) to 5.8 (the magnitude of the mainshock). An interval of .1 between each dot was chosen based on the the resolution of the data provided by the USGS. The position of each dot on the Y-axis represents the base 10 logarithm of the number of earthquakes measured with magnitudes greater than or equal to a magnitude of the corresponding x value (including the mainshock). This diagram incorporates data from the initial quake and each of its 23 subsequent aftershocks to date. The Gutenberg–Richter law predicts that the correlation should be linear, and even with only a small number of aftershocks so far, the trend is clearly visible. Measurements from subsequent aftershocks will narrow some of the horizontal bands of dots. The slope of the trend is typically equal to -1 in seismically active regions. That would mean that for every earthquake of magnitude 5, one would expect to see 10 quakes with magnitude greater than or equal to 4, and 100 quakes with magnitude greater or equal to 3, and so on. Currently, the slope for this series of earthquakes is approximately -0.37, likely indicating a small sample size in terms of number of seismic events. As further aftershocks are measured throughout the upcoming year or so, this graph will be updated. Raw data provided by Unite States Geological Survey. Diagram and analysis by Kevin Borland.
Sketched Map of Lego States and its neighbours
Righto, so here's the long overdue map of Lego States, as well as its neighbours, namely the City-State of Tabletown (the alt-version of the original by Doc S.), Brickule's Principality of Legington, St George Is. (obx is planning a campaign for this), Hawaii of the USA, and the newest addition, the City-State of Wolk (gaunt) Cookie for those who can correctly explain what goes on in that Restricted Area marked in red :)
